excellent mod, really love it
![]() A hammer would be if the Propaganda News would relate to the actual date on the boat. When you´re travelling in 1939 and get news from 1941 it´s a kind of weird ![]() |

Just a note that while playing the Open Horizons 2.3.1 campaign, Coastal Waters, I had a consistent repeatable CTD with this mod enabled at 20:00 GMT Sept 30 1939.
After multiple attempts ( and 2 restarted campaigns) I was pointed to this thread: Ctd at certain date/time Removing the mod from my list allowed me to continue past 20:00. I'll re-downlaod the files in case I might have a corrupt download. I unpacked them using 7-zip. |

I am currently using Grossdeutscher Rundfunk with TWOS. I just checked in the files and it doesn't have an events folder or an events.ini.
All the sound files are in the main Grossdeutscher Rundfunk folders (1939 to 1943) so I assume that the files just play sequentially like the gramophone. I'm not sure a I don't speak German to tell if the news broadcasts are in order by date. I had asked this question in another thread, http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=218215 when I was trying to work out if SH5 had program support for the events.ini structure like SH3/4 did. The other day after installing TWOS, (Fantastic work BTW) ![]() I was quite chuffed about this and then BdU sent a message to confirm what I had heard! ![]() I had replied in another thread about Carotio's radio mod as per the quote below but have not had any replies regarding this. Quote:
I think I digressed a bit from the original question.....I have the original Grossdeutscher Rundfunk and not the remixed version.....and yeah, #3 download is an invalid file. Not sure where you could get this file now... Last edited by kevinsue; 02-27-15 at 01:39 AM. |
