It was between -5°C to -7°C all day yesterday and my furnace decided to pack it in..

The pilot would light but not stay lit. Conventional wisdom says that's the thermocouple but changing it did not fix the problem. This was at about 10 AM. We finally got a repair guy to show up at about 6 PM (I was originally told 4) and he set it right somehow.

Needless to say it was a chilly day with everyone bundled up tight!
