Rendsburg is on the Canal between Kiel and Brunsbuttel. I'm surprised you can refit there as it wasn't a submarine base that I know of. You can only end the patrol at your home base.

Unfortunately, we can refit in every blue port in SH5( even with OH2)...

And even in neutral ports with OH2 WHEN you zoomed in enough and click the "+" symbol. If no refit base, then the "-" appears. If a refit base, then the submarine icon shows up.

Refueling is covered in the OH2 thread half way down the page of post #1.
