Now that our character is back to port, I might do a couple letters from home. They'll be pretty short compared to game posts.

Dear Frank,

How have you been? Your Father and I have been worried sick. We started to wonder when you didn't write. We figured you were busy with Navy stuff. Your sister joined the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron in the Army. She flies airplanes from factories to airfields. You know her...always pushing the envelope. Your Dad is still working in the factory and I've gotten a job working at a restaurant in town. Don't worry about Sam either. He's just as healthy as he always was although he misses his daily game of fetch. We're all fine here and doing our part. Just make sure you do your part and come home to us safe and sound. We can't wait until you come home.

Dear Mom,

Don't worry about my safely, I can use saves as many times as I like and will never die. If we spot the enemy I dive deep until danger passes. I got a strange rash while in Brisbane and the Doc put me on antibiotics.

Sorry about the factory job, but it beats the last one you had.

I have to deliver some toilet paper to the Solomons, I'll try to write you from there.

Pains me to say that this is going to have to go on hold for possibly another week or two. There is too much going on, even on weekends, for me to continue at the moment.

Might do good to simulate the time between patrols.
