I used to go to a local Japanese language mivie theater whhere they screened triple features for $1.00. The films were either older movies or newer B-grade movies (and a few C-grade or lower). One film, made in the mid-70s, had a plot revolving around the Yakuza during the American Occupation of Japan just after WW2. There was one scen where the gang members were dealing with some GIs in the black market. The American actors appeared to be non-professionals (to say the least) who were just hired at random. The Americans spoke Japanese so as to avoid the expense of having to subtitle or dub the scene. One of the "actors" was obviously from the very deepest part of Texas and I'll never forget the sight and sounds of him saying "Boku no okane desu ka, y'all?"...
