Lets make things clear 1. If you want a full reload of torpedoes , shells and fuel the only option available in SH3 is to end your patrol as correctly desertstriker has pointed out. 2. Installing both hardcore fixes and the addons that I am suggesting, gives you mid patrol rearming (max 3 TI torpedoes) , fuel (adds 30% of your current capacity) but you can continue your patrol. No gun shells are provided. Use the links in my last post to download the mods and follow the instructions to the letter to install them. |

It is possible to increase the number of torpedoes carried as you leave port. See
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=187395 It is also possible to increase the number of shells carried as you leave port in one of two ways: Use the Additional Ammo Mod for GWX (250 deck gun rounds 10.5 and/or 8.8cm...and bear in mind only HE rounds are included with GWX): http://www.gamefront.com/files/12858...tional_Ammo_7z Alternatively, you can manually edit /SilentHunterIII/data/Cfg/Basic.cfg/ but it must be done in two places.

Let us presume you want to change the VIIC loadout
Open basic.cfg with notepad Use the search function (ctrl+f) to find [SUBMARINE_AMMO3]; VIIC It will come up something like this : [SUBMARINE_AMMO3]; VIIC Type=1 Version=1 ForeTubes=4 AftTubes=1 ForeResIntern=4 ForeResExtern=1 ForeResExtra=2 AftResIntern=1 AftResExtern=1 ShellSlots=12 NbYears=7 Renown=4 SNK_MASK=NSS_Uboattype7_SNK_mask Year0=1939 ForeTube00=0 ;T1 ForeTube01=0 ForeTube02=0 ForeTube03=0 ForeResIntern00=0 ForeResIntern01=0 ForeResIntern02=0 ForeResIntern03=0 ForeResIntern04=0 Adding these lines will add three new bow torpedoes ForeResIntern05=0 of the TI type for the year 1939. Do the same in ForeResIntern06=0 every year block. Hello everyone I played for sometime SH3 with GWX 3.0. I have a question.After a single mission i spent all my torpedo's and return to a base from a mission where i stopped in the sub bunker in a free spot.(crowds were cheering me at the base or dock entrance that was something..)But were no torpedoes reload nothing was reloaded.Can you tell me how i can reload or how i end a patrol and dock in a single mission,and reload? Thanks

press escape. then click on end patrol. AGAIN there is no middle of the mission rearming or refueling without one of the hard code fixes

I was on a successful mission called Sydney harbor,and did my mission,and returned to the friendly port of Rabaul.I stopped at the dock but no rearming was done to torpedo's or anything so i can go and do continue sinking ships in other places.What can i do? I was told that if i dock in a friendly port i will be able to rearm.That is not the case.

I was confused till he mentioned a SINGLE mission.
The last answer before mine is correct. For all the benefits of this fine mod(GWX), you need to do a campaign. Then all will be revealed to you. Good hunting!
