So new to patching and mods

steam version of the game it's crap one cos u can't use TDW generic patcher....read here and the game without this patch it's unplayeble.....
better install the DVD version and befor install some mods use tdw genericpatcher wich one solve many game bugs...for mod list u must choose wich interface want to use TDW or Magui

Hey mate

You missed 1 file at the beginning of post #1 of your 'How to' thread... there are only five files for backup and you miss this one - SimData.dll..
