No, I get your point as you are trying to say the Second Amendment does not give citizens the right to own a firearm per Cruikshank, only to restrict the federal government. However that is not relevant as Heller decision stated there is a right, as the second amendment so obviously spells out.Heller overrules Cruikshank.McDonald V Chicago rules that states are limited the same way the feds are.
