My Dad had a friend who thought he was a hot rider and went to the TT one year. Story goes he was out giving it his all and got passed by two other riders that were tinkering with their carburetters as they went by. He decided it was time to quit.

Pretty crazy stuff when you see a lap of the TT from an onboard view.

Lucky indeed.

Edit: Check this out. Just look where the spectators are, they are crazier than the riders.

wow man, those guys are inches from the helmet of the bikers in those turns!

If someone sneezes, a biker dies decapitated.

I am amazed at the amount of grip those motorcycles have in the turns.

The Tires they use are soft and very sticky on tarmac but only last a few laps and you can throw them away.

Next to needing good tires you need as a rider to have a lot of faith in your machine and your skill.

TT Isle of Man...I gotta hand it to these riders they got balls and nerves of titanium to pull it off at such speeds.

They're well aware of the risk if something goes wrong but that doesn't seem to stop them.

it's as the title says the greatest show on earth if you like biker sports
