your cpu will do but you definately will have issues with a 8600 card so upgrade to at least a 460 or better in the 1gb or higher onboard ram, that should make a huge difference for you.
also with 3 gb ram you aint got much left after the operating system uses up 1gb by itself so you should max out the limit to what your motherboard can handle which is most likely 4gb so see if you have open slots to add a 1gb stick or if you need to replace a lesser stick that is installed. ram is so cheap now i would suggest you buy a 4gb set of ram (2x2gb set) in the highest speed your motherboard can run since most computers arent built using the fastest or the maximum ram they can handle. you have an old system and sh5 is needing a little better computer then you have so if you max out the ram and get a decent video card that has its own large ram capacity then your marginal system should be able to run the game without the ctd or at least they will be few and far between when they do happen. also if you are running a 32bit operating system then apply the 4gb patch so your computer can use a full 4gb instead of being limited to 2gb which is what 32bit operating systems are set up to be limited to. last point is if you have a lesser system that has trouble running the game it is criticle that before you play you do a full cleanup on your computer to clear out all memmory storage that has been used, do a disk cleanup and run spyware cleaners, make sure its defragged if you have been downloading anything. it doesnt seam like much but every bit helps when you barely have enough to do the job |
