Unless you use Steam like me as the patch will not work

I found that and had a read, alas, I'm none the wiser. The instructions are some what complex for me to comprehend, or in other words... I'm a dummy !

if you read the post, which TDW is talking about, fully, you do not have to manually do all the editing. At the bottom of the post there is a download with a patcher and patches for .exe, SHCollision and SHSim files. You can also go to sober's mod thread, where he listed a video, made by one of the members of the community, on how to use the patcher.
