The game emulates the historical issues of the faulty impact and magnetic triggers. The faulty impact triggers must impact at 90 degress (+- 10 degrees) AOB in order to detonate. Any angle other than this runs a very high risk of a dud. The magnetic triggers are prone to misfire and may prematurely detonate in rough seas over distances greater than 1 kilometer. Keep this in mind when you prepare your attack runs.
