But even the patrolling ones will stick to their paths as long as you stay out of their detection zones, despite the mayhem being unleashed in plain sight.

I think I will stay away from harbour raiding, too much of a duckshoot once you get past the patrols... my suspension of disbelief won't stretch that far!

Another part of the problem is that in real life you don't dodge around sub nets. They stretch clear across the harbor and have a 'door' which is pulled aside by a tug when ships need to get in or out. One way to do it in the game would have been to have the nets set deep enough that a surface ship could pass over them and a sub would have to do it on the surface.

Whatever the problems with making it work, raiding a merchant port should be difficult and dangerous. Raiding a naval base should be next to impossible.

I gotta agree, once you get it out of your system a couple o times such a 'duckshoot' just ain't that much fun.

Nah, trying to complete a stock career first, it's a bit tedious but I'm getting there.

Even with the stock campaign, load up that IRAI and it will get real interesting real fast. Hope that you aren't used to those aircraft just passing by...

Yeah, I gotta admit, I'm certainly getting a bit complacent.
