![]() I switched back to 'Enhanced Funnel Smoke', and all these problems were gone, everything works perfect. Don't know about the compatability though, but everything seems to be ok with 'Enhanced Funnel Smoke'. |

What you say is correct, that 'boosted' funnel smoke might be better and I've seen those 'balls' as well but - IF you really want to run the FX Update I've found it runs better without smoke improving mods. Why? I can't say but that's what it's been like here for me. ![]() In this case I've found it necessary to make a pick and as the FX Update adds so many immersive features the FX Update is the one to choose. ![]() |

If you want to test the Dynamic Environment I recomment the 'Basemod (Realistic version)' followed by some of the optional add-ons. And NOT combined with the 'Real Environment' mod. My best advice is you should go for the Dynamic Evironment ![]() Please tell if you're satisfied with that or not. Best regards |

At this time for Dynamic Environment, i just tested Base mod and optionnal wave mod both in realistic version. I am not very sure to know exactly what did not totally suit to me (color, wave mechanic); it's more a general feeling. I see that in optional mod, there is a Realistic Color version, so i suppose it's different than the color of the base mod. I"ll test now and tell what i think ![]() Also with one mod (don't remeneber which) the seafloor was bugged, huge stone and algae floating in the sea. Bye |

You don't really need any under surface mods, do you? What captain would occasionally take a dive outside his sub? ![]() As you run the Antilag set to 3 pre-render and 40fps I'd suggest you try 3 pre-render and 33-37 FPS. You should get an even better, smoother gameplay without any negative visible changes, just better gameplay. Just to check. Regards BTW. I've even tried a mod that improves weather and makes it less static - Stoianm's EnvWeather Mod |

I think you get these CTDs because the OH II 'Full' version is too heavy on your processor and RAM - takes a lot of capacity. Change to the 'Base' version. EDIT: in fact the author write that it is useless (?) if using TDW ui lastest version, so i did not use it! 5- in fact i did not put a mod for the undersurface mod, but the vanilia (?) stone and algae were no more put on the floor but suspended/floating in the water just below the surface ![]() For anti-lag, i have tested 30 perharps 35 (don't remember) it was laggy. Problems with SH5!! It makes me not even want to play
Okay here is my mod loadout/order:
![]() I am having the following problems, and its driving me nuts making me feel like not to even play anymore because it's so frusterating: 1. I have bands/lines in the sky especially after I speed up time. At night it looks like a painting. 2. When I am in my u-boat, I can see black that replaces the textures further down in the doors. 3. I can't even play the game completing anything. I tried patroling right in the area it asked even sunk an enemy ship (outside the lines) of costal waters, and have NO progress? Is the game broken? What do I need to do in order for the kills to count on the Costal Waters mission in Total Germany. Keep in mind i have UI-boat and OHII and I want to keep these. 4. I have no idea why the hydrophone still picks up contacts on surface! I have the sub_hydrophone_fix, and the no hydropphone_on_surface mod! It drives me nuts. 5. I see textures such as lights through waves. I tried sober's no see-through wake mod and it screwed up the graphics, wake. Is this an Nvidia problem, it looks terrible! 6. I would like some more realism. Ui-boat is buggy meaning it gives you sonar ping which is un realistic, along with some other options. And it says it in english when you order a command through the icons. however I know reaper's excellent mod he was forced to stop adding on it, so left for what we have oh well. However, it is beyond silly I come up to a DD about 8k away and he doesn't even see me. I would like how it was back in SH3 GWX 3.0 Gold, with the realistic damage and everything. I had some mods but I can only be compatible with so much. 7. I thought travel mode would allow you to skip radio messages, but it doesn't, so it gets annoying after a while. Also, the radio messages that come up are with English, and sound affects unrealistic! 8. Isn't the fuel value way to high for a U-boat? Seems like I could cruise forever. Anyways I know that was a lot, all of these problems just kill my immersive experience and frusterate the heck out of me.. ![]() For all these strange graphical distortions I'm getting, here are my system specs: Windows XP Professional Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00 GHZ 3.5G Ram NVidia Geforce 9800 GT (1 gig DDR Memory) NOTE: <---- I have latest drivers Direct X: 9c
