Wish I could have an answer. We plan to add a new campaign, nothing sure yet.. just thinking about. But be sure, I also wanna finish this mod asap because it already took too much time.
Either way, I think my next import will be the NATF. .sim file has it at 1800 tons. I just hope we can get it stable in the water.

Great work SteelViking, tested your ship briefly!

Seemed to float nicely in the water too, All the wakes look also very good, the previous ships had two wakes, but stock ships and your ship has three (two in the back), so I'll change the old imports to use three wakes also.

Do you know by the way if we need keep the GenHeightControl, GenSpeedControl and other old controllers in .val-file? We deleted those and use only SH5Wake and SH5Foam controllers, and everything seems just fine.

One small question/constructive criticism... Your ship is very heavily armed in the start of the war already. I think it would be more realistic if it would be unarmed at the start of the war, guns would come later on.

Anyway, really good job, keep them coming

Thank you Rongel.

Yes, we need those Gen controllers. They are not old. I actually added them to my ship on purpose. They are not being used for the wakes, they are being used to scale/ control the bow wave...............Something just occurred to me. You deleted them from the other ships? That could very well be why people are seeing bow waves long after the ships have sunk! Try adding them back in, you can use my ship as as blue print, and see if those mysterious surface bow waves don't disappear.

And, about the weapons, she is bristling with guns now that you mention it. Feel free to edit the .eqp in anyway you see fit. I just wanted to make sure that all the gun ports were working, and then I forgot to make it realistic again .

On to my next ship, the NATF! I think the NATF is the smallest non-sail ship in SHIV. A am already getting pretty fast at this, I should be able to produce a ship a day if not more from now on.

Hi! I noticed that stock SH 5 ships don't have any Gen controllers (at least HogIsland) so that's why I asked... I think I noticed the crazy ghost bow waves when I still had the Gens, not 100% sure though.

I can fix the four ships I have now under work but I'm afraid I can't do much more than that... Work suffers... not nice...

Little rant: I wan't to play this game again, no more modding!

Phew... It helped

The submarines all have the Gen controllers. That is where I copied my bow wave from.

Also, I have noticed that even the SH4 guns black out at around 1500 meters. Anyway we can stop that, or extend it?

After a stint of modding SH5, I always try playing it again, but I always end modding by the end the day.

Wish I could get the NATF finished and to you guys tonight. But, I can't and I don't know if I will have time to finish it until Saturday.

It is a tug boat, but I don't see why we couldn't re-purpose it as a small coastal merchant.

Anyway folks. I would really appreciate it if someone would give me a link to an SHIV ship pack. I have only played SHIV a little bit, went straight from SHIII to SH5 so I don't have very many mods for it. I really want to focus on smaller ships as Zedi has requested and SHIV is running out of them fast.

Now, I know there has been talk of people "stealing" earlier work to import into SH5, but I wouldn't do anything without the author's permission, or at the VERY least, give full credit for anything I would use.
