![]() ![]() In regards to the wind in the sub, and I don't mean too many beans, it's often attributed to alt tabbing in and out of the game. Someone suggested at some point that by going to the hydrophone station and pausing before alt tabbing seemed to stop this from occurring, although I've had it happen to me (only once or twice) and I run the res fix which makes alt tabbing not possible for me. Also I believe it has to do with TC when changing from bridge to interior, try and avoid changing from the bridge to the command room or any other screen to be safe, while you are at anything other than 1x TC.

I don't know if it can be pinned down to any one cause, I'm guessing it's a combination of something in the game and an individual's system, which hardware is there and what the settings are for it. I switch from bridge to the other stations and back all the time, and I'm usually running at 128 TC when patrolling - the switch sometimes brings the TC down to 1 or 32 or whatever depending on which station I switch to, but I don't bother doing it manually at all. And I've encountered this "bug" only two or three times.
Never tried the thing with hardware acceleration, if I encounter it again I may give that a go. I've always just saved and reloaded, and since it hardly ever happens that's not been much of an annoyance. If it were happening all the time it would be a real PITA though. |
