Obama picks odd battles to fight. When he could support our allies in the UK, he flips them the bird, so I guess he's trying to make nice. In this case it fits with his basic world-view that the US is usually at fault, and the US military particularly so—so it's win-win for BO.

Sorry she died—and I'm positive the troops that tried to rescue her feel worse than I do about it. Much worse.

They did their duty and I'm confident their best.....bless em all, without them we would be a lot worse off

Well considering that there is considerable uncertainty about how she died, I am glad there will be an investigation.

I think your right but if there was an error I'm confident and hopeful it will have been made in good faith and not prevent any further rescue attempts that are needed in the future.

Thus far to the best of my belief, the UK have yet to negotiate with hostage takers/terrorists with regard to paying ransoms.
