What is absurd is that despite the obvious danger a good number of dead are people who attempted to steal fuel from the damaged tanker.

You'd be surprised what people do when forced to exist in poverty. If they succeed in getting fuel a couple of times they may think that it's not dangerous. Until something happens.

When I first read the Thread title I assume a ship "oil tanker" cosidering the number of fatalities!!

Amazing so many killed by a "truck tanker", what a terrible disaster!
