Should we start referring to you as 'Bugs ' (bunny) then?

Obltn because SHIII hunter doesn't promote one easily to kapitänleutnant which pissed me at the time.

Strand comes from my last name which really translates roughly as shore-like.

Rather boring... mine is taken from a short story by H.P. Lovecraft.

'Bugs' is an adequate nickname since programming is part of my job.

That is absolutely great! I've been programming for 34 years and never made that connection.

I've been called Hook since high school. It's part of my real name.

I adopted my nick when I was in college studying fire science and dreaming of becoming an EMT. Also an homage to lazy weekends spent playing Shadowrun years ago (there were two emergency medical services in the game back then; DocWagon and the less popular Krash Kart). Ironic that it would tie together like this later in life.

don1reed

don1 = don juan...because I love life as much as don juan loved the ladies; and,
1reed = partly because a cranky, old priest once called me ("a reed shaken before the wind"--St. Paul). I've worn it as a badge of honor long after his departure.

Just 1reed, survivor of many storms, sticking around to see what comes next.
