If we follow the SHIII Commander argument to its conclusion, why have patrol grids at all? Just pick a point on the globe and go. Very and I understand some players play like that and that is cool. However, others prefer the challenge of doing your best in an environment you do not have 100% control over...

Then I'd suggest you interrogate the ME first and see what traffic is scripted there.

Who knows, you mightn't think it worthwhile.

Open up the game folder (usually C\ProgramFiles\Ubisoft\SH3)

Double click on Mission Ediyor then open up the Campaign_SCR and RND files separately to see what traffic there is in the ares you are most interested in.
