I don't have the steam version.

My understanding was the game would automatically update when I logged onto it. I've logged on and it "updated the launcher", but I still have only version 1.1.5 showing on the game screen.

Odd...shouldnt the game have the same version no matter if it was on Steam or not?

I have version 1.2...

I've heard that Steam users doesn't have the 1.2 patch yet.

Hopefully I am wrong.
