[EXP] Start a Campaign with VIIB. This is very experimental

Personally like i said many times. I would like to see a "historical correct" VIIB model before i would ever get a VIIB in the campaign.

The easiest way (that worked at least for me) is just edit ....\data\UPCDataGE\UPCCampaignData\CareerOptions. upc in your main game directory (Silent hunter 5)

ID= TotalGermany39
[CareerOptions 1.Flotilla 1]
ID= C1Flotilla1
NameDisplayable= 2. Unterseebootsflottille
IDLinkFlotilla= 2ndFlotilla ; link to ID in Flotilla upc file
IDLinkUserPlayerUnits= F2VIIA, 1
FlotillaBriefingText=
FlotillaCommonality= 1

where you simply edit F2VIIA to F2VIIB, C or whatever.

And start a new campaign.

Hmm tried it but I had a CTD. "CareerOptions.upc" edited this way is also part of my mod, so this is not enough for my game for some reason.

Yep, thats the problem most ppl having, but no idea why I don`t have any.

Edit:

Here`s CareerOptions.upc that works for most ppl (filefront is currently down for me)

Thanks it works for me also, hmm "F5VIIB" instead of "F2VIIB",
