According to the EULA, which everyone obviously reads, your auction is illegal.
LE: Oh, and they also own your server stored saved games. Quite an entertining read really.

Meh, they can have them

" To create or distribute unauthorised levels and/or scenarios"

Well, if one was to take that literally, or out of context.....
Modders, anyone? Creating levels and/or scenarios

Obviously no dramas, i know that. I'm being pedantic.

i think they are just trying to give advice, with some facts, i'm sure they are not insinuating anything to do with your product on ebay

Interesting, according to the EULA modding might be considered illegal, and yet one selling point for this game is it's modding capability. But then, if all the saved games become property of Ubi Scam (Soft, sorry) then are they stealing others' work (ie mods) by laying claim to any that are used in anyone's game via online save?

It begs another question, if I don't change the contents of the disc iteself, but, after loading the game onto my machine, does that count? I'm not changing anything that I purchased, only some files on my own machine. Is the EULA legally laying claim to a portion of my PC? I mean if I wanted to use something to enhance the performance of this game on my machine (read, that which must not be mentioned) and therefore install that something on My machine after legally purchase of the disc, that becomes an illegal act? A mere download of one file (non-pornographic) placed on the HD of my machine makes my machine contraband of an illegal act. So the game is legally claiming ownership of a portion of my PC and Ubi, by it's EULA, is claiming ownership to all mods used by the online save aspect of this game.

I never read the EULA because I don't have any intentions of doing anything illegal. Just use the game on MY machine and that's all. Maybe I'm breaking a law just using this game and therefore shouldn't.

Your not getting it Rundeepa, what you are wanting to do is illegal plain and simple.
What you are asking someone else to do, is buy an unusable product that you are selling illegally.

You aggreed to the EULA when you registered SH5 and created the account. And now you are essentially saying you dont aggree with it.

Everything you've done in that list is illegal , simple as that. If Steam , WoW or any of the other games realised that the account had been sold , or was being sold - you could be in a lot of trouble.

Also - why would I buy your "used" copy for £10 , when I can buy a new copy from Amazon for £12.99?

And the Amazon copy comes with a disk lol.
