GREAT job

I just cant believe the modders in the community can fix something just days after release. Why didnt the devs look at how the sub rode in the waves and say "Humm that looks stupid.." then take 5 min to fix it? Just like SH3 and especially SH4....it takes this community to fix the stuff that should have already been fixed.

I was wondering the same thing. I got a pm from Dan not so long ago and they said they were aware of the problem but they didnt have the time to fix it.

I tried the mod and in heavy waves the Sub seems to be too stiff. 12 meters high waves should wake it more IMO.

By any chance is it possible to add randomly rogue waves? Could be a very nice addition in terms of realism and be some sort of "easter egg" also.

Rogue waves? Here :

and

and for those who understand french, here's a very serious documentary :

Do the torpedoes still rocket into the air with this?

In heavy seas, torpedoes still fly in the air between large waves.

Hey Stoiamn,

Can you fix the link please? File Not Found.

I'd love to see freak waves too... also would love
to see more rolling, and some way to control the
listing of the boat (shifting ballast maybe). My boat
has a permament list of 2-3 deg port.

However, there is one huge thing missing, and
that is a Wet Look to the boat... all that water
washing over a permadry boat just doesn't look
right... how about fading reflectivity or something like
that? ie fading if it's dry for x time.
