[REL] Improved waves_improved roll&pitch (anti-subs on rails) V 1.1
Hi guys!
This mod changes the wave simulation and the behaviour of the subs riding the waves. A small example of version 1.0: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8685/titelan.jpg Download: Latest version 1.1 -fixed subs could not hold depth Here: http://www.filefront.com/15796307/Im...itch-V1.1.rar/ |
Awesome work once again!
|
give this guy a medal!
|
the old ver is already a cool stuff!
thx for your update! |
Thanks mate, however the Uboot still looks "light" with rought seas.
I saw your video and even if the first part is great (and made me download it at once ;) ) then i has some doubts about heavy waters. The sub should be more prone to go under the water and not showing its belly, isn't it ?? P.S. more a question than an observation :D |
NICE work !!!!!! :salute:
|
did you fix the rolling from side to side issue? it seems that mine rocked back and forth an awful lot before.....
|
Wow, this is good. Just look at the 15 m/s sequences :yeah:
Thanks Schuhart |
fantastic mod, thank you!
|
Wow, this looks SO much better in heavy storms. No more flying U-boat.
Thanks:up: |
Much better!
|
Thx for depth fix! :)
|
GREAT job :yeah:
I just cant believe the modders in the community can fix something just days after release. Why didnt the devs look at how the sub rode in the waves and say "Humm that looks stupid.." then take 5 min to fix it? Just like SH3 and especially SH4....it takes this community to fix the stuff that should have already been fixed. |

I tried the mod and in heavy waves the Sub seems to be too stiff. 12 meters high waves should wake it more IMO.
By any chance is it possible to add randomly rogue waves? Could be a very nice addition in terms of realism and be some sort of "easter egg" also. Rogue waves? Here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_wave and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_8hOai9hGQ and for those who understand french, here's a very serious documentary : http://ma-tvideo.france3.fr/video/iLyROoaft1sH.html |
