Ok. One thing I can see is "for_MODS_folder". I think there are sub folders in there that are the actual mod and need to pulled out to be in MODS. That mod is packaged a little different than normal.

Well, they gotta be going somewhere. After you install the mods, do you have any folders named 'data' anywhere else? There should be one in Silent Hunter 5 and one in each of the mod folders. You shouldn't have Silent Hunter 5\data\data, for instance

I'm out of suggestions. The only thing left I can think of is to make sure you activated the mods in JSGME, ie move them from the left window to the right. Silly, but I can't think of anything else.

Ok, i haven't attempted to install any mods yet. i've been looking since release.
I want a better AI, a way to check the depth under keel, and a way for ships to actually sink and not drift at 0 knots for 2 days and nights while fully engulfed in flames. What would you guys suggest? I've been hesitant about downloading mods 'cause i'm concerned with balance. I haven't played SH5 since i realized i can't be found and depth charged when i'm 20 meters beneath the waves going ahead flank. |

I thought of one more thing you can check. Pick a couple of files in various mod folders and compare the time/date on them with the ones in your SH5 data folder. If they're the same, the mod did install properly. If they're not, they installed somewhere else. Do a search for the filenames and see if you can find where they went.
