this is a great idea. sure its eye candy, but i believe it really would encourage the player to take ownership of his character. i still think the ideal would be as i suggested earlier; ingame have your shore tunic hanging on the wood panelling at the foot of the bunk that gets modified ingame as you gather rank and decorations. when youre enduring the 3rd hour of DCs you can at least checkout your bling.

however, if thats omitted from the game then perhaps the above idea could atleast be included in a mod like a subcommander type thing?!
