It is silly isnt it... I kind of found it hard to believe myself.

Anyhow game runs find with the new card. I got about an hours worth of play in last night. Created charecter and got through the early scenes.

Made a human female rouge for some reason only 'noble' was a selection.

It is somewhat reminescent of NWN which is not a bad thing though I am still a bit lost in the interface, charecter sheet, leveling and all that is quite different. I havent even looked in the manual.

BTW I named my mutt "Sputum"

The gems you find are the exact same ones from NWN. Topaz, malachite, etc.

Well, started off as an Dalish elf only to find it did not suit my playing stlye (too weak for my liking). So I've gone for a Dwarf Noble - aka combat monster (he got a nice double headed axe).
After a 2 hour marathon yesterday, have got near to where I was with my Elf - Ostogar (where you join the Grey Wardens.

Still no crashes yet - this is the most stable game I have played in a long time. Good job Bioware

Some things can't be unseen! Oh ,the horror!

I figured Zevran was gay, but I didn't need to see it confirmed.

BTW, you can make some rather questionable choices in the brothel in Denerim as well. The "surprise me" option might be interesting...

Absolutely brilliant game.

That's just weird. What CPU is it running on?

OMG Ive hit one of those dreaded difficulty spikes.

Its a random encounter in a city where you approach the bad guys and a gate slams shut cutting you off from the rest of the party.

I tried it twice last night and realilzed NFW!

I understand you can carefully approach the area and get your party inside the gate before it slams shut.

But oh my gawd !

While the game itself is great, it is absurd that I must be logged in each and every time I intend to play the game with extra pre-order content, in other words, each time I want to load a saved-game with extra content. This is the first offline-online chimera game I've ever heard of. You must login, but what for? It's a singleplayer offline game isn't it?

Put under this light, the default, non-deluxe, non-pre-ordered simple version is a superior version of the game, for you can just fire it up and play, anytime, anywhere.

And I, who payed more for these trinckets, on the contrary, am punished with an obligation to play only with an internet connection, as if this were an online game.

There must be another way to do this special edition thing, less moronic, less cheapsteak, less punishing to the customer who goes the extra buck.

Now I can only imagine what will happen if years from now I decide to play my Dragon Age deluxe edition, as I did again with Knights of the Old Republic a few weeks ago. Will my special content be available? Will the old game still be supported? Will Bioware's subscriber system still exist?

I want to own the game, install and play it when I want as I see fit, not have to become a subscriber to an offline-online game, not become the hostage of an internet connection and a company's clubhouse.

What happened to owning the damn game?!

Many thumbs down to Bioware for implementing such a system. Yes, the game is great, but this system is retarded, it is like a good-looking whore with AIDS.

Only just realized this myself, and I have to agree. It's not so much having to log in, but the possible future implications that bother me (though at the same time I trust Bioware to avoid such issues). At the very least it should be mentioned that an internet connection is required to play DLC.

Btw, performance is a lot better. At first it wasn't too impressive with high-detail and 4xAA, but now it's on very-high with 4xAA and runs wonderfull. Either a performance issue in that "tutorial" part, or they adressed it in that first patch, either way I'm happy.

Things going well - 12 hrs in and still no crashes (yet). Finished the Urn quest - those 4 tasks were "fun", won't go further - don't want to spoil it.
The only bug I have found, is if you have the Blood dragon DLC (got mine with the game) and you play as a Dwarf Noble, once you get exiled, to my horror you lose the breastplate! Can't seem to get it anywhere not even from the party camp

Gah, you and your BDA. Work for your armor! After beating the 4 Revenants needed, I will never take off my Juggernaut set... no matter if I'd get a nuke.. I hate those bastards.

Hehe, gotta love those dwarves, just heard one of the news guys yelling "News of the hour! Prince Bhelin attacked the assembly and he was slain. Epic fail!"

This turned to be pretty awesome game.

Now, my only concern is the story itself, looking at the codex, there isnt much that is left to be found yet I still feel like the main story has just started. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Not that bothered bout the BDA, got my Dwarf Waraxe and the family shield - so Im happy. Anyway I got Morrigan to turn all enemy's into ice blocks, then I smash them into ice cubes, just like in Duke Nukem 3D

Currently working my way through the Circle tower - taken Alistair, Wynne and Morrigan with me (Wynne is REALLY useful with her heal spells). Just on 2nd level, found a statue turned over; looked at it found a vial, opened it - EEK a Revenant!!!.

Killed it, just used mainly hex spells to make it more vulnerable to ice/fire etc.
Still it was tough, hope I don't face more than one later on.

Once I done the tower, might go next to Sulcher's pass, then its back home to Orzammar to see whats happened since been exiled.
