My guess are Brewster Buffalos?  I don't have a copy of the film to refer to (refuse to buy the edited-down US version), but in the vast majority of "war" films, they tend to use painted-up AT-6 Texans (Harvard when in British use). I guess I'll have to go & rent the movie now to find out. |
