When you're playing Mirror's Edge and you get really far from a checkpoint, jump... then miss the ledge and fall to your death. Every time. I very nearly threw my mouse across the kitchen...
Also applies to Tomb Raider.

I remember crashing out on the final lap on the last corner at Silverstone in rFactor using the GP79 mod. That last chicane before the start/finish straight is not forgiving if you go into it too aggressively.

It was kind of a Dick Dastardly moment, so close.

But it was my mistake.

Ugh, that reminds me... getting you're licenses on Gran Turismo. Especially trying to get everything gold for the bonus car.

Putting in a performance like you never did before, and aren't likely to repeat anytime soon, but coming in 0.001 second late.

Ah yes, the Gran Turismo license tests... There has been many times that I've become frustrated with those tests. You go a fraction faster through a corner and the car gets just enough on the grass. FAIL, and that annoying music plays.

And that Trial Mountain license test with the Nissan Skyline has to be the most frustrating license test of all.

Sometimes I feel like if that annoying anti-spin driving aid could be turned off for license tests, then I could probably set a better time. It only slows you down and creates massive understeer.

Aye, I remember that one well, cost me literally days to pass.

When I started over later and had to get all the licenses again, it suddenly was a piece of cake, but the first time while still learning was pita.

When, in SH5, I order a crash dive to 70 metres and the boat goes to 328 metres.

LOL, my favorite is when you try to level off, and your sub thinks it is tied to someone the mafia clipped and goes to the bottom.

SH3-4-5 all gave me one of those, but I suck so it could be me.

I accelerate and even blow tanks, yet I sink like a brick.

I figured out why it happens though.

God most likely hates you (me,us).

Or Bernard was on the wheel.

Xenonauts

Had my first terror mission and uh.. well it could've gone a bit better.

The first 4-5 turns went ok, secured the area around the Chinook and killed few
aliens in the process. Started to move down the street with two 4-man teams,
seemed clear to me. I continue on, checking every corner as I go...
except for one, which I forgot.

I end the turn and, as they say, **** hit the fan. Turns out there were 2 Androns
behind the corner I failed to check. And a third one came into view from front
left. Long story short: 4 turns later, out of the 8 soldiers + the Ferret AC, only
one was alive. All because of a small mistake I made.

And I loved it!

Ehr, society has degraded into a state where the people are kept "down" by very strict control, particularly on what they are told. Most people have just given up, but some still resist this regime-like state. Faith is a runner that carries messages as part of this resistance. Kinda like the resistance during WWII, but in a modern setting.

At least, that's what I make of it. The game BSODs on the exact same spot in the training area every time.

i've got to say i don't honestly get to many moment in games where i swear at the screen. perhaps whilst playing battlegrounds (hl2 mod) and getting shot in the face just as i'm about to capture the american flag...
when i fail tasks i mostly deflate and quitely say "*********ck....."
then try again.

the only time i scream and shout is when i finally sink a torp into that damned DD thats been pinging me and driving me crazy for the last 50 minutes!
