Maybe you should use fn+ctrl+F11, I am playing on a MacBook 15" Pro with Windows XP installed. The images are in the SH3 folder and are bmp.

I tryed :

* Install those files ( res fix).
* Reinstalled .
* Used " ctrl+F11"
* Used "Printscreen .
* Used Ctr l + print screen
* Even tryed to see if numLock was the reason .
* In d3d9.dll file , I wrote : " ProgramFiles/Ubisoft/SilentHunter3" and
" Documents and settings/Programfiles/Ubisoft/SilentHunter3 "

Results :NOTHING , NOTHING , NOTHING

Here is the whole d3d9.dll file that I copyed :

If you do get the .tga files you need some picture viewer to open them, as IrfanWiew.
At least Vista does not recognise .tga´s, I don´t remember if XP did, I´m getting old and only remeber what I use at the moment

I've no idea what might be causing the problems you're having, but (unless you're determined to find the cure) I can recommend finding and downloading Rapidshot v1.7. It's a standalone program that runs in the background and allows you to take screenshots as .jpg or .bmp files using whichever key combination you set it to. It can be used in any application you might be running, such as SH3 or FSX etc. I've been using it since my flightsim days on FS9 and it has worked flawlessly in all the games I've run such as Morrowind, Warcraft, Warhammer etc etc.

Using PrtScr is correct.
TGA format is correct.

The screen shot PATH is not correct! It doesn't even exist. Where do you want the screens to go?

For a folder in My Documents, it should read:
screenshotPath=C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\SH3 Screens <- Make a folder of your own in My Docs and then copy the folder location from the address bar in Explorer.

For a folder in Program Files, it should read:
screenshotPath=C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunter3 <- Or wherever you have the game installed.

Don't copy and past my PATHS, they need to be specific to your system. FYI folder paths use \ and not /.
