Something strange about screenshots .

:) Hi everyone :)

I am using the resolution fix , and using "printscreen " button .
But I get no screenshots :o:o
I get some TGA files named "shot 1247770765 "
But there's no TGA picture :wah::wah::wah:

HEEEELP MEEEEEE:wah:

Task Force 07-16-09 08:40 PM

Try shift f11.:up:
theyl be in yer sh3 folder.

Ford Prefect 07-16-09 09:19 PM

If you're running vista and have installed to program files (bad idea) then you'll either have to change the permissions on the SHIII folder or run the game as admin to have the screen shots save. I had this problem when I first tried taking some shots, I was using the right commands but the shots didn't save as the game didn't have permission to alter the contents of its own folder! :nope:

Vista at times seriously dampens my battery! :damn:

StarLion45 07-16-09 09:20 PM

Nope

:) thanks for quick replay TaskForce :)
But it didn't work, I don't get any screenshots :o
I didn't have a clue :wah:

StarLion45 07-16-09 09:22 PM

No Vista

:) Hi Ford Prefect :)

I have no Vista , only XP for me.
I don't understand nothing . I am using Kegetys resolution fix :wah:

Torplexed 07-16-09 09:43 PM

Trying looking for BMP files, not TGAs.

StarLion45 07-16-09 10:03 PM

Thanks but.....

:) thanks for the replys , but it didn't help :)
I couldn't find those Bmp files in main directory,
I don't understand this :o

Ford Prefect 07-16-09 10:29 PM

hmmmmm, check the installation directory isn't protected, it may be the game doesn't have permission to save the files to there. XP may be doing a vista to you....

Task Force 07-16-09 10:34 PM

Err... try clrt f 11... I couldnt remember if it was shift or ctrl...:up:

Rafael 07-17-09 09:55 AM

Maybe you should use fn+ctrl+F11, I am playing on a MacBook 15" Pro with Windows XP installed. The images are in the SH3 folder and are bmp.

Task Force 07-17-09 12:20 PM

Or use fraps.

bert8for3 07-17-09 02:10 PM

or try ctrl + prt/scrn

StarLion45 07-17-09 03:49 PM

Nothing

:) Hi everyone :)
Thanks for the help , but it doesn't work:wah:
I tryed :

* Install those files ( res fix).
* Reinstalled .
* Used " ctrl+F11"
* Used "Printscreen .
* Used Ctr l + print screen
* Even tryed to see if numLock was the reason .
* In d3d9.dll file , I wrote : " ProgramFiles/Ubisoft/SilentHunter3" and
" Documents and settings/Programfiles/Ubisoft/SilentHunter3 "

Results :NOTHING , NOTHING , NOTHING :o:doh::wah:

Here is the whole d3d9.dll file that I copyed :

:hmmm: If you do get the .tga files you need some picture viewer to open them, as IrfanWiew.
At least Vista does not recognise .tga´s, I don´t remember if XP did, I´m getting old and only remeber what I use at the moment:)
