Thanks - that is very helpful.

I suspect a part of the problem, is I was doing a Training Mission not an Exam Mission.

Thanks FIREWALL.

Where have you guys been hiding this GREAT GAME?

I just discovered it this week and am continually astonished at how good it is and I'm still in the Academy.

Of course, a huge part of the 'goodness' comes from the thousands of hours of work put into the mods. Seems some of the very best games I know of are the result of volunteers massively improving the retail product.

Only problem, other than getting sunk , that I see is getting seasick watching the boat ride the waves.

Funny how our perceptions differ depending on our experiences. I played Silent Service back in the '80s and Aces of the Deep and the original Silent Hunter in the '90s, and complaints about SH2 brought me to this forum in 2002. So of course I've helped hide this great game from people for several years.:rotfl: And now SH4 as well.

Oh yeah. Don't forget to ask about any mods you don't understand or need more info on. We try to help everybody we can, and that still includes so-called old hands like Firewall and myself.

Since your original question has already been answered I'll leave you with two pieces of advice: GWX and SH3 Commander.
