From the latest AP feed -- Carradine's family is livid over the publication of what appears to be a forensics photo:

A grainy photo published on the Saturday cover of the tabloid Thai Rath shows a naked body suspended from a clothes bar in a hotel closet, hands apparently bound together above the head and feet on the floor. The face is blacked out and other areas are obscured.

The paper did not indicate the source of the image, but Thai police said they believed it was a picture of Carradine's body taken by a forensics team. Keith Carradine said in a statement that the family was "profoundly disturbed by the release in Thailand of photographs taken at the scene of David Carradine's death," and threatened legal action against further distribution.

Yep, the plot thickens, I'd say!

Indeed. Was it a case of the famous BKK sex-capades gone wrong?

This is really worrying, but what else can you expect and in a country where many are always on the lookout for ways to make a quick buck.

I'm sure the British paparazzis would have handled the matter much more discreetly.

I think your missing the fundamental point here....it is not about the 'papparazzis' as you put it (but I do think British tabloids have higher ethical and moral values than those in Thailand anyway)....it is about the official source of the leaked information. I can't imagine a Scenes of Crime Officer releasing such material to the press.

If the British police officers and members of the media would have to scrimp and save in order to get along with their salary I'm sure there would be even more corruption and misconduct among them then there already is, and there already is quite a lot for a 'rich' European country.

The puzzling thing is that this report suggests that Carradine's wrists were bound together above his head -- that usually requires an assistant! Yet supposedly the Thai police have "all but ruled out foul play" & the surveillance video did not show anyone else entering or leaving the room (so they say). I'm not surprised Carradine's family want the FBI to do their own investigation. Something smells fishy here, and it ain't the pla pao.

A Thai tabloid recently published a photo of DC hanging in his hotel room.
The face and body was edited to "anonymize" the person, but still...

I have seen it, but not really interested in sharing the link - I didn't bookmark it, so you'll have to search yourselves, if you wanna see it.

The first articles I read about it indicated that he was hung, like in having a rope around his neck. The photo indicated more like "something which went wrong" or something. I don't know what...

Anyway... I only remember DC from the television serie of North and South and then Kill Bill.

RIP

What facts do you have to support your claims of "quite a lot" of corruption within the British Police Service?

Oh I didn't think I need any, just like you don't.

Sorry to derail this wonderful thread about Carradine's death. I think there's a certain poetic justice about this considering that Carradine was chosen into Kung-Fu over Bruce Lee because Lee looked "too oriental".
