David Caridine dead at 72
|
I reed it now! R.I.P. Quai Chang Kane:cry:!
|
That is a shame. I remember watching his Kung Fu series when I was a kid.
|
Dang, I may not have seen Kung Fu, but I watched Kill Bill and he did a fantastic job in that.
RIP  |
Just bought the series on DVD. It will be a sad reunion....:nope:

Suicide. Was he ill? Cancer in terminal stage? Depressions?
|
Shame, he was still doing a series for Discovery "Wild west tech" which I enjoyed.
It did strike me that he looked a little frail. |
How very sad :nope:....I wonder what tipped him over the edge, and naked? :hmmm:

This is on CNN (so we can't be sure of the accuracy) but at this is now from two news sources (Which does not necessarily mean much these days)
http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/06/0...ine/index.html "American actor David Carradine has been found dead, hanging by a nylon rope in a hotel room closet in Bangkok, Thailand, according a Thai police official." If true, it would indicate suicide. :( |
1) I had no idea he was that old. I thought he was about a decade younger.
2) Given that he was making a film at the time, I find it hard to believe suicide. On the other hand, not much else makes sense. 3) I've been a fan since Kung Fu. Loved the series. Loved the sequel series. But my favorites are The Long Riders and Circle of Iron (AKA The Silent Flute). |

Or somebody decided to bump off the old gentleman...

With all due respect..

He was making a movie, he had good relations with his family. No public history of depression, drug abuse or perversion. I just don't see the suicide motive here.
