Thanks for the inputs.

But I think you are missing the point a bit. I was just wondering why an S-Class (in RFB or even in stock 1.5 as it seems) is able to increase it's range up to 16.000 nautical miles while the sargos, and probably the other fleet subs too, don't get much over 10.000 nm maximum, no matter what speed I use and also under good conditions.

I get everywhere faster but the maximum range I seem to be able to achieve is almost like 50% bigger in a small WWI-sub. This discrepancy seems odd.

And in SH4, if the maximum range reads 11000 nm, than it only means 11000 nm and not that you would have enough fuel to travel all the way back. After this distance your reserves will be depleted.
