the thread has an explanation on how to add or change any name on the map but its not very clear, you will just have to figure it out unless someone can explain it in plain language. i dont think the guy who created it spoke good english, but he isnt around anymore but the mod with the same instructions as his post has is. here is a good download link for it: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...do=file&id=780 the file where the names are is the Campiagn_NMS found in data/ campaigns/ campaign then find the Campiagn_NMS file and its a text file so you open it with windows notepad inside it looks like this: [MapLocation 47] Type=1 Priority=0 Title= Heading=0.000000 OnLand=false ShowOnMap=false FirstRenderStep=true FileName2D=I_Jawa.dds <<< here is one of your misspelled names so just fix it but dont mess up the .dds on the end or it wont show up in the game LocationName= MinObjTerrainHeight=0 MaxObjSlope=0.000000 GameEntryDate=19380101 GameEntryTime=0 GameExitDate=19451231 GameExitTime=0 Font=FPArhi24.dds FontColor=37119 UseDetColor=false ZoomStart=10000 ZoomEnd=1000 ScaleOnZoom=true Scale1024=0.500000 Long=13343420.000000 Lat=-898000.000000 Height=0.000000 [MapLocation 48] Type=1 Priority=0 Title= Heading=0.000000 OnLand=false ShowOnMap=false FirstRenderStep=true FileName2D=I_NewGuineea.dds <<< here is another one of your misspelled names LocationName= MinObjTerrainHeight=0 MaxObjSlope=0.000000 GameEntryDate=19380101 GameEntryTime=0 GameExitDate=19451231 GameExitTime=0 Font=FPArhi24.dds FontColor=37119 UseDetColor=false ZoomStart=4000 ZoomEnd=1000 ScaleOnZoom=true Scale1024=0.500000 Long=17003420.000000 Lat=-658000.000000 Height=0.000000 this is a huge list so take your time and you can find and fix them all. (there are 113 map locationsin the stock file and in his modded file there are 163) as for adding new ones, im sure its probably easy but as i said before you will have to figure that out for yourself or maybe someone can explain it to both of us.
