You shouldn't think of flightlessness as a regression. It is an
improvement/adaptation to save energy and allow larger body
mass etc., not a regression from under use.

No they didn't they are flightless becaus God made them that way at the start , though its unclear which day because it isn't a bird of the air so must have been made on the day of animals of the land ....and if the evil Obama has his way this scientific truth won't be allowed to be taught as science .
