Who needs either? Personally I just click ( Esc ) both of them and start game loading. Any opening "Logo" drive me nuts.

I like the opening video a lot. I still watch my dvds of that show. I still wish I had my Roy Rogers easy chair to sit in like I did when it was on TV. What would really be nice is to marry the video with a high quality stereo recording of the theme. I was a huge fan of the series as a kid and bought the stereo recordings of all the Victory at Sea music conducted by Robert Russel Bennett and the NBC Shmphony.
Those discs are still in my possesion in storage along with my Howdy Doody albums and the priceless recording of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" by Gene Autry. I found both Victory at Sea recordings on CD available online and have ordered them. |
