Open channel.

April 13, -40.

Yesterday, Apr 12, the British was handed another blow by the KM during
the Narvik operations. At 15.30 the Warspite was torpedoed by U-53.
2 bow, 1 stern and 1 midships hits sent the ship to the bottom. She sank
at 16.29 in Vestfjorden.

Thank´s Chris.
I had to fire from over 6000m, racing in on the surface

They seem to always come in too far away or when your out of torpedoes, yes:hmm:

Mostly luck mate
Fired all four, set for medium speed, straight at her and dived, clearing datum at 1 knot. They went under an destroyer, setting of the alarm, but it was too late for Warspite.

So, if i got it right, those battleships are patrolling around Great Britain with various destroyer escorts. And mostly around Loch Ewe and Scapa Flow, right?

That is correct...many warships/task forces are scripted into the GWX world and many start and or end at either Loch Ewe or Scapa because that is what happened historically.
