I'm a nerd. I am proud to admit it and I fully accept it. Nerds are cool though. We're funny and we keep the world interesting for the non-nerds... and without us, most major scientific discoveries would never happen (or at least no role playing, or in my case board war games would get playtime !:rotfl: )

Although I've served my country and saw action in combat, in the past, most of my life has been as a complete nerd. People and businesses ... not to mention governments ... cannot long survive without nerds to make things happen.

Did the Arnold Schwarzeneggers and Sly Stallones of the world create M1 Abrams MBTs and B2 bombers, not to mention the electronic wizardry that makes them function? Where would someone like Jesse Ventura be without the nerds who created the minigun he used in Predator, not to mention the techs which are part of every movie?

Presidents, Kings, CEO's, Popes, and Dictators all require the presence of nerds to keep their governments functioning, and equip them with all the latest spy hardware and weapons to make war.

Courageous astronauts blast off into space, but the nerds who made the rockets and man the control panels in Houston get them there.

When the handsome and rugged captain of the High School football team ends up with a beer belly and a bald head by fifty, not to mention his trailer park mansion, the nerds that everyone laughed at ... the ones that started their business in a garage ... live in huge estates and provide computers and software to millions of people across the world.

Nerds rule the world.
