U-53 Kplt Gobbstopenzer Have sunk HMS Hood AF7375 Fired fan of 4 at 2244 heard 4 impacts Heavy DD resposne 2258 heard massive breaking and flooding. Increased DD response Evaded at 178m Am low on fuel and ordanance. Am returning Willh. Have Schnapps at the dock.
