The heavy weathered skins I make, are mostly based on pictures..

I cannot find a lot of photos with rust.. looks like they painted the boats regurly..

No I dont, I just like the added character a ship with pouring rust stains at some of the seams would have.

What Im looking for would likly be more like a moth-balled boat. Tired, worn and combat weary.

I will put it on the to do list.. but it will take a while.
You mean like this shot of "Down Periscope"

You should loose your command with that amount of rust on your ship
