Default Liars!!!!

Before the game came out, I asked if my video card would be able to run it, and was told unequivicably, absolutely, positively no way!!! Not just that it would be slow, but that it wouldn't run at all!
Well lo and behold this morning, I get a message from the Yahoo SH group that lists the supported video cards, and mine is on the list!!! So I go to UBI's website, and I find a program that will check your system's compatibility for the game. This is what it showed for my video card:

Video Card Minimum: 128 MB RAM DirectX 9-compliant video card capable of rendering Pixel Shader 2.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 6200+ / ATI Radeon 9600+) You Have: RADEON X300/X550 Series (Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series (0x5B60))

PASS Video Card Features - Minimum attributes of your Video Card Video RAM: Required - 128 MB , You have - 128.0 MBVideo Card 3D Acceleration: Required - Yes , You have - YesVideo HW Transform & Lighting: Required - Yes , You have - YesVertex Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 2.0Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 2.0

Top end, no. But still above the minimum, and thus playable!! And that's what I'm mad about. Because of what I was told, I cancelled my pre-order. If I hadn't, I could've been playing the game by now!!!
I'm so mad right now I could shoot survivors in a lifeboat!!
