Hi All,
Love this board, love this game. I'm on No-GWX, my 4th patrol heading to AM 32. Thought I'd stop by for a cup of coffee at Scapa Flow, oh sink a capital ship or too and haul out of there. But to my surprise I'm at periscope depth and all of a sudden I go to 0 knots, flooding in the Forward Torpedo room. I look out the periscope slightly below the waterline and there's an underwater wall!! I go to a previous save, try another approach, same thing. Another approach, same thing! Kudos to those blasted Englishmen! They learned their lesson from Prien in '39! I'm assuming there is NO way in to Scapa Flow by March 1940. I've looked on all the dedicated Newbie threads (which have made life easier for me), Wikipedia, previous threads, nada. Any input on this? I've noticed these walls are always where there seem to be light houses off the shore. There must be a gap somewhere in these walls becuase Corvettes are mving over said troubled areas with no problem. Good Hunting. |
