Default Weird Patrol

Have you ever had one of THOSE patrols? I swear to the lord I had the strangest one ever...

It's March 1941 when I first put to sea, to a clear, calm ocean...
Cross the bay of biscay in a clear, calm ocean,
Travel up the west side of Ireland in a clear, calm ocean,
About 75/100 miles NNW of Ireland is my patrol area, a clear, calm ocean.
The return journey was the same...

Then out of nowhere on the Return my lookouts failed to spot a Clemson destroyer till it's about 3500 metres away from me.

Calling a crash dive it's too late. In comes Mr Clemson, his skipper obviously a practitioner of voodoo as he perfectly places his depth charges. BANG BANG BANG BANG. I hear the sound of rushing water through my tiny laptop speakers. Then I look at the damage control situation.

Major flooding in the Electric room, Diesel Room, Stern quaters (And I mean MAJOR!)
Destroyed Stern Planes, 1 Electric Motor, 1 Diesel Motor
Damaged Deck gun, Flak gun, Port & Stbd Rudders

Hull integrity... 98% WHAT???

Just call me Mr. Lucky

Anyone else encounter weird weather/damage like this before?

I tell you I'm
