St. Nazaire Press Gangs?

Guten Tag, Kaleuns,

I've got an interesting problem here. It's September 25, 1940 for me. I'm in the 1st Flotilla with my trusty VIIC on my first career. I've decided I'd like to try my hand at the larger IX-class boats so I'm trying to transfer to the 2nd Flotilla in Lorient. When I apply for the transfer, it gets approved but my base is changed to St. Nazaire and I find myself in the 7th Flotilla. Try as I might, I just can't seem to get myself into the 2nd Flotilla. Oddly enough, if I try to transfer to the 7th Flotilla the game just crashes to the desktop. It seems the 7th prefers to draft their Kaleuns rather than accept voluntary service. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing or is this a bug...er...undocumented feature? Am I stuck in the 1st Flotilla for the remainder of the war or forced into conscription in the 7th Flotilla.

I've got the stock SH3 install with the latest (1.4b) patch and SH3Commander 2.7.0.130. My system isn't a powerhouse, but it should have enough to run the game decently enough: P4 3.0, 2.5 GB RAM, >500 GB HDD, and a cheesy ol' FX5600 256MB graphics card (AGP) running my dual display.

Any helpful hints, tips, tricks, money, beer and/or sarcasm accepted...

Thanks
