Hi guys the forums are about sharing knowledge and Ive seen quite a few
noob questions about what to do tactically so I thought we might share a tactic or two starting with evasion while submerged after a torpedo hit alerting the escorts. For me evasion always begins with approach, choosing the right position both for the shot and to have enough time and space to evade. if they have you I like to run towards them aimed about 30 degrees off one side or the other, when we close to the moment in the sonar window I flank ahead towards the target full left rudder full down angle for the bottom as the shooting goes off I get about halfway through the knuckle and drop a decoy into it. simultaneous to ordering silent and heading back towards the reciprocal course to the destroyers approach. causing me and the escort to gain seperation distance quickly the noisemaker and silent running both happening at the end of the sonar attack cause a break in passive contact with the escort while your in his baffles a triple move.. ![]() anybody else.
