Cool start! One suggestion: If you lower the mouth a bit such that only half of the teeth are above the water, the reflection on the water will supply the other half of the mouth. That might also position the mouth lower, to a more "natural" position.
This said, whatever you think is best is fine with me. You're a far more talented artist than I am! This is going to be soooo cool!
