GWX is very stable usually. I have had a few CTDs but then have MFM added to mine plus a few other ships which stretches my pc

By the original poster's statements he doesn't use mods other than GWX so I doubt stock GWX would get the memory use up that high to cross the 4GB limit.

@Bruno Rizzo: Did you follow the savegame condition recommendations in the GWX manual to avoid corruptions? Unfortunately SH3 still has some leftover bugs in that area. The rules when to save are quite a hindrance but it has served many well and a long time to play out entire carreers.
